The pioneering way that Baddeley Brothers has collaboratively developed the unique paper planes, then attracted and engaged a highly influential creative audience across the world, has evidently struck a chord with the demanding panel of experts at the 2012 British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) Excellence Awards.
The Paper Planes campaign is one of seven projects in the shortlist for the Innovation category.
“The BPIF Awards are highly respected, and it’s a great honour to be shortlisted in such a competitive category,” commented Director Charles Pertwee. “We have always believed that the traditional printing skills that we provide are as relevant today as they were a hundred years ago and to see our work shortlisted for innovation is affirmation that the industry believes this too.”
The winners will be announced at an exotic themed awards ceremony on 13 September near Tower Bridge.
